How to Find The Prosperity In Gratitude

Looking for prosperity? The following article contains some very sound advice on how to attract more of it into your life...

The Prosperity In Gratitude

The unthankful heart... discovers no mercies; but let the
thankful heart sweep through the day and, as the magnet finds
the iron, so it will find, in every hour, some heavenly
blessings!
~Henry Ward Beecher

This is the time of year when we give thanks. It's the time
when we look around our lives and feel grateful for all that we
have. Our families, friends, and all of the love in our lives.
We are grateful for the work that we do. We look to see the
silver lining in all of our difficult situations, and feel
grateful for the opportunity to learn so much from. Did you
notice how abundant you felt when you were standing the in place
of all of that gratitude?

Gratitude is a powerful thing to exercise when we are looking
to create more abundance in our lives. Why? Because as we focus
on all that we are grateful for, we begin to feel more abundant,
and when we begin to feel more abundant we then begin to attract
flow of abundance in our lives. What you focus on grows. Like
attracts like. That's why you won't increase the abundance in
your life by focusing on all that you don't have.

There is a blessing for us in the loving expression of
gratitude. As we focus on what we have, we create more of it. As
we focus on on our joy, we create more of that. As we focus on
love, we indeed create more of that, and love is core and
central to all manifestation in our lives. When you create from
a place of love and intention your life will become more joyous
and rich that you could have ever expected.

We are all energetic beings - and the energetic vibration of
gratitude is one of the highest and purest vibrations available
to us. Love and gratitude go hand in hand. Sending out this kind
of pure positive energy into your life will bring more of that
back to you - it's universal law, it's the Law of Attraction.
Gratitude can start a positive momentum in your life that change
your life forever. When you begin having an "attitude of
gratitude" in your life, you jump start the process of
manifesting all of your desires.

The question is, "It's Thanksgiving, but, shouldn't we practice
gratitude all of the time?" The answer is yes! Especially if you
would like to create more joy, peace, and prosperity in your
life.

Integrating Gratitude Into Your Daily Life

1. Look for what you want to see vs. what you don't want to
see. To often we go about our day waiting and expecting awful
things to happen, or we expect to be disappointed. We walk
around saying, "I don't like this, and this, and this...." and
look for things that need changing. You would find that your
world may conform to more of your liking if you focused on what
you did indeed want to see. "I like this, I like that....oh and
I really love that!" What a shift in vibration, do you see?

2. Appreciate and be grateful about something about you. Be
grateful that you have a beautiful smile and a heart of gold. Be
grateful that you are a savvy business person, or that you are
inventive or intuitive. Be grateful that you are a wonderful
parent. Be grateful that you are not perfect. (Wouldn't that be
a bore?)

3 If its hard to find something to be grateful about yourself,
start by looking around your world and appreciating that. The
snow, the leaves, the sun. Look for beauty in your life. Focus
on the penny that you do have vs. the one that you don't.

4. Keep track of all the good things that happen to you in your
calendar or daily journal...even the little things. This affirms
that good things do come your way, and you can begin to trust in
God and the Universe as the source of your supply. Appreciate
the synchronicities that occur in your life, they were given to
you as a gift to affirm that you are indeed on the right path.

5. Want to see some fast results? For the next 30 days - set
aside time to write for 10 minutes all of the positive things
you can about your life, your relationships, your body, your
work, your home etc etc. You will not be the same person at the
end of those 30 days!

6. Open your mouth and let the gratitude flow from your heart.
You will find amazing things begin to happen to you and those
around you. Can you imagine what might occur? Play with this and
adore someone today.

In gratitude,
Lori

The Importance of Goal Setting

In the following article, Mary explains one of the key
concepts to help you achieve your desires...

Are You Sabotaging Your Life?

I just returned from a whirlwind trip to NYC. I was
accompanying my husband, Phil, to a Saturday morning
breakfast meeting. He's Working on an exciting project
which requires raising money to bring a new motorcycle to
the global market.

Yes, it is exciting to be sure! BUT, as someone who easily
supports and gets excited for someone else's' project, I
had to ask myself: What things are on my to do list, what
goals have I set for myself this year? And how am i
impeding my own progress toward those goals? Well, I can
tell you from first hand experience that grabbing onto and
supporting "other's " goals too tightly can sabotage your
own progress.........

I admit it, I'm someone who ignores my own goals in suport
of others. I tend to think more about someone else's
success than my own. STOP IT! I think to myself but it
really takes quite an effort on my part.

Lately I have been very preoccupied with how successful
people set and achieve their goals. If I'm not careful,
others can waylay my goals and my focus for achieving
things important to me. There are unlimited, and sometimes
subtle, distractions which can sabotage my desire to
achieve "x".

So I pulled out the list that I make annually and started
reviewing and refining it upon my return from NYC and all
the exciting happenings for Phil.

I know goal setting is a universal process, but everyone
seems to approach it differently. Here is my own process
for streamlining the goal-setting process.

1. Write it down! I'm always tempted to keep my goals a
secret - even from myself. Writing down my goals is an
annual must for me. It serves to keep me honest and the
fact is, you're more likely to achieve your goals if you
write them down!

2. Divide your goals into categories - I use PERSONAL,
BUSINESS, AND SELF DEVELOPMENT - I like using this 3-column
approach because I can clearly see and prioritize the
different areas of my life.

3. Examine why each goal is important to accomplish. I ask
myself questions like; "How will my life be different when
I accomplish 'x'?" or, "Is this a goal that is inner
directed or outer directed?"; "Am I willing to sacrifice
the time, money and other things necessary to accomplish
this goal?" Remember, goals are only as good as their
importance to their owner, ME. If your response is
lukewarm maybe it shouldn't be taking up space on your
"goal list"

4. Know what you want and don't want in your life, before
adopting a goal. This amounts to being self-aware, being
tuned in to my values. I ask myself " Is this a goal which
supports who I am and my overall vision for my life?" For
example, if you value "fun" in life, you may have a
qualifier that your goal must have an element of "fun"
built in. Maybe as a reward, even! When goals are connected
with who you are in life, you are more likely to achieve
them.

5. Know your supporters and detractors. This is HUGE. I
find that if I spend time with people who are not
supportive, or who don't have goals for themselves, it
brings me down and blows me off course.

6. Share your goals with someone. Talking about your goals
brings more ideas and support for them to the forefront.
Try not to keep goals and aspirations a secret - own them
and be proud of them. Stick up for your life and move
toward things that are important.

And so as I return from NYC and all the excitement
revolving around my husband's project, I'm reminded not to
become distracted with another's goal. I've got my annual
goal list in front of me and I'm reviewing and revising the
goals I have for myself. I hope you will too because there
will never be an optimum time for taking action on things
important to you. Now is all you've got. So begin your list
today!

I hope this inspires you to take some action
today..................

How to Be Ridiculously Rich and Spiritual, Too

This is an excellent article that helps explain why so many
people are not successful attracting "wealth" into their lives...

How to Be Ridiculously Rich and Spiritual, Too: A Nod to Today's ePreneur

The ePreneur is an up-and-coming concept in the world of
entrepreneurs. The "e" in ePreneur stands for
"enlightened." Well, I'm not so sure about the enlightened
part! Perhaps it's better to say that the e encompass all
entrepreneurs who desire to build their businesses upon the
foundational mix of solid business acumen and inner
spiritual wisdom.

Today's ePreneur apologizes neither for being financially
prosperous nor for including the spiritual dimension in
their business. To the ePreneur, the accumulation of wealth
and success goes hand-in-hand with being spiritual.

If You've Seen One Prosperity, You've Seen Them All

Many people mistakenly believe that there are many
definitions of prosperity. I disagree. There is but one
definition of prosperity with limitless ways to manifest it
in your life.

Prosperity is a successful, flourishing, and thriving state
of being. It is most commonly associated with being
financially prosperous. It's about both energetic alignment
with the state of prosperity and to the manifestation of
things. The key here is the order in which things are done.
First comes alignment with prosperity. Then comes
manifestation. Get them backwards and what do you have?
Greed.

Many people struggle with their desire to be rich. They
think that being rich will interfere with being spiritual.
First of all, we are all spiritual beings, so "rich" hardly
has the ability to interfere with that. We give rich too
much credit. Being rich and successful is simply a
manifestation of the aligned state of prosperity.

The Difference between Need and Desire

"More" is a great feeling. Or is it? Seems to me there are
really two sides of more. There is the side of more that
comes from incompleteness and the side that comes from
completeness. One holds the energetic vibration of lack and
scarcity; the other holds the energetic vibration of
prosperity and abundance.

Which type of more do you have? Let's find out. Think of
something you want more of. More money? More success? More
time? Think about your more for a moment.

•Does your more feel like a longing for something or a
wanting more of something? If it's longing, that's need.
•Does your more feel like excitement to receive or craving
to have? If it's excitement to receive, that's desire.
•Does your more feel like the experience of connection and
the feeling of completeness or the experience of
disconnection and the feeling of incompleteness? To find
out the difference, read on.

Enter, Your Inner Samurai

The experience of connection and the feeling of
completeness are signs of your relationship with the
Infinite. I call this the relationship you have with your
inner knower--your "Inner Samurai." Connection is the inner
part of the Inner Samurai. Completeness is the Samurai
part. Both connection and completeness are needed and
represent a symbiotic relationship. To come into harmony
with your desire is to come into harmony with your Inner
Samurai.

When you are connected to your Inner Samurai, desire easily
and effortlessly flows forth. You naturally feel joyful and
excited about what you desire. That's because you are in
alignment with the Infinite. Conversely, when you are
disconnected from your Inner Samurai, you are caught in the
illusion of separation, and the stream of flow is
disrupted. From this place, lack pours forth in the form of
need.

Sometimes there is a seemingly indistinguishable line
between filling a need and expressing a desire. Plus,
desire has been given a bad rap: Desiring more is bad and
being content with less is good. Enough of that kind of
thinking! Desire is a natural part of us. Without judgment,
without reproach, desire just is. The ePreneur knows that
desiring more isn't the issue. Knowing the difference
between need and desire is.

You Complete Me, Don't You?

To need something is to believe that some external thing
will complete you. Need stems from the belief that without
something outside yourself you are incomplete. The
quintessential characteristic of need is that the
experience of its fulfillment is short-lived.

Need, flowing from incompleteness, attempts to fill a
bottomless spiritual hole with material things. To need
something is a statement that something needs to change in
order for you to be happy. The ePreneur knows that no
amount of material stuff can fill a spiritual hole. Only
connection to the Infinite can. The moment we let go of our
external need for completeness, we begin to manifest what
we desire.

Today's ePreneur knows it isn't about choosing between
being rich or being spiritual. It's about choosing to be
connected to your Inner Samurai.

Purpose for Meditation

What is the goal of meditation? The goal of meditation is not
to end or remove the stimulation. It is more a training of the
mind to direct focus and concentration to one element. This
single element may be a single sound, a single word or thought,
a single image or even the person's own breathing. Calmness and
peace are brought into the mind's focus, and thereby replace
feelings of worry, stress and depression. Negative thoughts can
be replaced with positive ones in this manner.

Benefits of Meditation:

There are numerous physical and psychological benefits to
meditation. As the body rests, the heart rate lowers, as does
the metabolic rate and stress is dramatically decreased. Many
negative physical and physiological reactions related to stress
are decreased or eradicated altogether. Concentration is
increased and memory is improved. Additionally, anxiety,
depression, moodiness and irritability are decreased while
feelings of vitality, happiness, rejuvenation and emotional
stability are improved.

There are many forms of meditation and, although it has its
origins in the Eastern cultures, the West is quickly learning
the benefits of this relaxing practice. Most people think of
meditation as some guy sitting on a pillow, legs crossed, eyes
closed, humming. However, meditation can be done while sitting
on a chair, lying down, sitting at your desk, or just about
anywhere.

While the many different forms of meditation are as diverse as
their styles, there is one thing that they have in common: they
focus on calming and quietening a chaotic, busy mind.

What is the goal of meditation? The goal of meditation is not
to end or remove the stimulation. It is more a training of the
mind to direct focus and concentration to one element. This
single element may be a single sound, a single word or thought,
a single image or even the person's own breathing. This is
designed to bring calm and peace to the mind by making it focus
so that worry, stress and depression are pushed aside. Negative
thoughts can be replaced with positive ones in this manner.

All of the meditation methods can be grouped into one of two
different categories, or styles. The first of these styles of
meditation is concentrative. This means that the attention is
focused on the breath, an image or a sound such as a mantra to
still the mind and heighten awareness and clarity. Certain
types of music can do this.

Concentrative meditation is the most popular style of
meditation. The person sits quietly and focuses their attention
on the breath, known as "conscious breathing." This type of
meditation is very good for relieving anxiety, stress and
distraction because it causes the person to focus and relax.

To perform conscious breathing, sit in a chair or on a pillow
on the floor. Close your eyes and breath in deeply through your
mouth while saying to yourself, "I am breathing in." When you
exhale through your nose (or mouth), say to yourself, "I am
breathing out." Picture positivity being breathed in with each
breath you take and negativity being expelled each time you
exhale. Absorb yourself in the act of breathing in and out,
think of nothing else.

The other type of meditation is mindfulness meditation. This
type of meditation involves raising your awareness of all the
sensations, feelings, images, thoughts, sounds and smells that
you encounter each day. However, you do not dwell on them or
become involved in thinking about them. The person simply sits
quietly and observes the activity of the mind without being
drawn into reacting to it or becoming involved in negative
reactions to it such as depression or worry. Through this
exploration, the person gains a clearer, calmer state of mind
that is non-reactive as opposed to bogged down in worry and
depression.

Wealth is More Than Just Money

Hello Again.

When we talk of wealth, many think we are only referring to money. The truth is, wealth is also health, good relationships and many other things that represent a great quality of life.

Money without health wouldn't be wealth. I don't think laying around the mansion on a sick bed is wealth. Neither is having a bank full of money with no one to enjoy life with.

Money, health and relationships together represent wealth to most of us. If any of these are missing, life seems incomplete.

Our affirmations should include positive thoughts of great health, as well as wholesome relationships that help us to grow personally. See yourself in good health and believe you are healthy and you will be amazed at how many illnesses pass you by.

Know beyond all doubt that your relationships are solid and they continue to be just that. Treat others as you would have them treat you and people will welcome your company.

Always strive to find the good in any situation, be thankful for that good, and you will continue to attract more of it into your life.

Until next time,
David.

How to Attract More Wealth

You can attract more wealth into your life if you follow a few simple suggestions.

First, start by repeating to yourself the simple affirmation "I am worthy of being wealthy." You need to train your mind to support your wishes, and affirmations are a great way to do that.

Next, imagine what it would feel like to already have the wealth you desire. The immense feeling of relief you would have, safe in the knowledge that you no longer had to worry about your finances.

You also need to be very grateful for the things you already have in your life. Gratitude is a very powerful driver of attraction and you should enable it as often as you think of it.

Get into the habit expressing your gratitude for something every morning when you step out of bed, and every night as you climb back into it. It's a great habit to get into and will drive more positive things your way!
